Welcome to Petra-Notes

WE MUST NEVER FORGET

In the months following September 11th, 2001
both New York City and this country as a whole had regained
a healthy reverence for almighty God and a respect for each other that was reminiscent of the patriotic unity so prevalent during world war two.

Please pray for wisdom and godly reverence for our Nation's leaders. Pray for God's protection upon our emergency and rescue workers as well as our military.

Why remember September 11th, 2001?
In Matthew 7:24-25 Jesus shows us that the storms of life will come to everyone at one time or another. None of us are exluded from the possibility of tragedy touching our lives.

Life has many uncertainties that are beyond our control, we must remember that in God alone we can find shelter from the storms of life, and the strength to rebuild when the storm is passed.
